OPEN

The decision before the work.

Who this is for

For a person or household comparing second citizenship or residence, with a real purpose, an explainable source of funds, and time to prepare the evidence.

What the assessment gives you

A comparison of suitable routes, the facts that could change the choice, document gaps, cost categories, and the order of work. Citizenship, residence, and tax position are assessed as different questions.

What is separate

An assessment does not include an application or guarantee an approval. Any application coordination is separately scoped after the session.

A 60-minute strategy session is $2,000 by card or $1,750 via BitSettle. Written assessment within 24 hours after the session. Further professional fees are quoted afterward. The amount paid credits professional fees for services retained within 30 days after the session.

See an illustrative example

Illustrative working example

A Bitcoin history a reviewer can follow.

A household wants a second status and expects to fund it from Bitcoin acquired over several years. This example demonstrates the preparation, not an eligibility result.

Starting facts

The household has exchange statements for purchases, a record of transfers into self-custody, and a proposed budget. The aim is a residence option for the family, not travel access alone.

What still needs an answer

Some original bank statements are missing. A wallet history does not, by itself, establish the source of the original money or the person entitled to it. Family documents and presence expectations still need review.

Follow the work and the responsibilities
  1. Client

List acquisition dates, exchanges, transfers, and the supporting records already held. Describe gaps without uploading wallets, statements, or identity documents to a public form.

  2. Bitcoin Lawyer

Arrange the chronology, separate source of wealth from source of funds, and map the evidence questions against the routes under consideration.

  3. Independent professionals

Address the legal and tax questions that affect the household or any proposed disposal. The client engages the relevant professionals directly.

  4. Authority or provider

Set the applicable evidence requirements and make the acceptance decision. A complete chronology supports review; it cannot predetermine the result.

The next decision. First confirm which status solves the family’s need. Then resolve the evidence gaps and payment instructions before deciding whether to proceed.

Prepare

Start with your source-of-funds record Build a personal preparation list

After the initial work

Keep renewal, family-document, travel, and reporting obligations on the plan. Post-approval coordination is included only when the retained scope says so.

Routes, requirements, and practical work

Build a citizenship plan that survives the paperwork.

A second citizenship is a legal status. Making it useful takes more than choosing a programme: a documented family, a lawful funding trail, a route you qualify for, and a plan for what happens after approval. We connect those pieces before you commit programme funds.

What must a second citizenship actually do?

Start with the constraint you want to remove. Perhaps your current passport makes business travel unreliable. Perhaps your family needs another place where it has a right to live. Perhaps you want a long-term nationality option for children. Each objective produces a different shortlist. A destination count alone cannot tell you whether a route solves your problem.

List the countries you need to enter, how often you travel, who travels with you, and where you expect to live. Then separate those needs from banking, company ownership and tax residence. Citizenship can support a broader plan, but a passport does not establish every right or relationship in that plan. A bank still reviews its customer; a tax authority still applies its own rules.

Two programmes, different decisions.

Citizenship by investment, assessed through a paid session before a separate professional engagement.

Vanuatu

A contribution-based citizenship route with a staged application, financial screening and a Citizenship Commission decision. The useful questions concern household eligibility, documented funds, the complete cost, passport logistics and the destinations you actually need. Vanuatu does not provide visa-free entry to the UK or the Schengen area.

El Salvador

The Freedom programme combines a substantial economic contribution with an application and naturalization process. The government portal specifies Bitcoin or USDT payment and a narrow family definition. Contribution size, family fit and a well-supported financial history belong at the start of the decision, before payment instructions.

Bespoke planning

Some clients need a residence permit, a document repair plan or a sequence of smaller steps before citizenship is appropriate. The session can identify that mismatch. It does not turn every country in an editorial ranking into a service offering or every residence route into a citizenship promise.

Keep four records separate.

This separation prevents expensive sequencing errors. Establish where the family will live before building an address-dependent banking plan. Ask a qualified tax adviser about countries where you already have tax obligations as well as the destination. Keep the citizenship application, relocation work and any company engagement within their stated scopes.

A useful first file is small and specific.

Household map

List each proposed applicant, nationality, age, relationship, residence history and any approaching birthday. Record custody or consent issues without sending children’s records through a general contact form.

Identity and civil records

Inventory passports, birth and marriage certificates, name changes and previous divorces. Note what exists, what must be reissued and where names differ. Certification and translation instructions come after the receiving authority’s requirements are confirmed.

Wealth and proposed funds

Explain how the wealth was built and which assets would fund the application. For Bitcoin, connect the original acquisition to transfers, present custody and the intended payment source. A wallet balance answers only one part of that question.

Timing and constraints

Name real deadlines: a school year, expiring permit, required journey or company transaction. Separate document preparation, government review and passport issuance. Travel arrangements should not depend on an unissued document.

The work proceeds in stages.

  1. Assess the fit

Use the strategy session to test the objective, household and funding story against the route. Identify material gaps, further professional advice and whether a project should proceed.

  2. Agree the engagement

Professional fees are quoted after the session. The written scope identifies responsibilities, third parties, government charges, exclusions and the payment stages. The amount paid for the session is credited toward professional fees if you retain services within 30 days after the session.

  3. Prepare and submit

Build a document register, reconcile the financial narrative and confirm the submission channel. Where a designated or authorized agent is required, the responsible party and role are established before filing.

  4. Respond and complete

Track requests for further evidence, decisions, payment conditions and appointments separately. Approval, naturalization, passport application and delivery are distinct events. A file is not complete merely because an invoice was paid.

Self-custody needs an evidence trail.

The practical question is how a reviewer can connect a lawful economic event to the funds proposed for payment. Exchange purchases, mining, business receipts, inheritance and transfers between your own wallets create different records. We organize those records into a dated narrative, identify unsupported links and agree what specialist review is needed.

Keep private keys and seed phrases private. Ownership evidence can be scoped without handing over spending authority. Do not move coins merely to create a cleaner-looking history. Transfers add events; they do not erase questions about earlier acquisition. Complicated histories need truthful disclosure and a route-specific assessment, not an assurance that every pattern will pass.

Plan for the day after approval.

Keep citizenship certificates, civil records and passport correspondence in a controlled archive. Record passport expiry, replacement procedures and any ongoing obligations that apply to the route. When a family changes through birth, marriage or adoption, check the current registration and nationality rules rather than assuming that a benefit transfers automatically.

Travel access changes. Verify a destination’s entry rules before booking and distinguish visa-free entry from an electronic authorization, visa on arrival or a conventional visa. The Bitcoin Passport Index is a research framework for comparing policy factors. An index ranking is not a serviced programme, a personal eligibility finding or a promise about future policy.

Before you decide

Common questions.

What happens in the first session?

A 60-minute strategy session tests your objectives, household, funds and constraints. You receive a written assessment within 24 hours after the call. Card payment is $2,000; payment through BitSettle is $1,750. Professional services are separately quoted after the session.

Does citizenship change my tax position automatically?

No. Tax residence, income sourcing, reporting duties and any departure obligations require their own analysis. Bring the relevant countries and dates into the plan, then involve qualified tax professionals before implementing a change.

Should I send passports or wallet records through the contact form?

No. Use initial contact to describe the objective briefly. Sensitive identity, family and financial records belong in an agreed, access-controlled intake process. Never send a seed phrase or private key.

How a route is chosen

Six questions, in this order.

A useful comparison starts with your constraints. The session establishes the questions before a country is named.

01

What follows you.

Your existing citizenship, reporting duties, family circumstances and tax position. A new document does not answer every question about the old ones.

02

Where it actually lets you live.

Visa-free travel, residence and citizenship are different permissions. We separate them before comparing routes.

03

What it costs, all in.

Government contributions, statutory charges, due diligence, documents and professional fees. Each recipient and cost belongs on its own line.

04

How long, and how present.

Processing time is one question. Physical presence, biometric visits, renewals and family logistics are the questions beside it.

05

What it closes off.

Consider reversibility and the next step. A route needed for a later decision is evaluated as part of that sequence.

06

How it treats a Bitcoiner.

Whether your documented source of funds, custody history and payment route can be assessed. Self-custody does not remove the need for records.

What we do

Map your citizenship, residency, entities, family and relevant dates.
Compare suitable routes and state their trade-offs.
Sequence the steps and identify dependencies.
Identify the records needed to explain your source of funds.
Coordinate the licensed professionals you engage directly.
Deliver a preliminary written assessment within 24 hours after the session.

What we do not do

Choose a country before understanding your situation.
Hold your keys or custody a government contribution.
Guarantee an approval or a government processing time.
Provide legal or tax advice, or represent you before an authority.
Accept undocumented funds or bypass due diligence.
Manufacture urgency to sell a programme.

Residency

Sometimes the answer is residency.

The right to reside can solve a practical problem without acquiring citizenship. The duration, renewal rules and presence conditions still need a careful review.

A second residence without citizenship

Government fees and professional fees are stated separately in your written estimate.
