Citizenship / Vanuatu
Vanuatu, with the whole process in view.
Vanuatu’s Development Support Programme is a citizenship route built around a contribution, an application and government review. The decision is whether that particular nationality fits your household and travel needs. It is not a way to purchase an exemption from scrutiny.

Start with the destinations you need.
Vanuatu can belong in a second-citizenship plan, but its travel access must be assessed as it exists today. The EU ended Vanuatu’s visa exemption, and the UK requires visas for Vanuatu nationals subject to its applicable exceptions. A plan built on unrestricted Schengen or UK entry therefore fails at the first check.
Write down the destinations that matter and the purpose of each trip. Tourism, employment and long-term residence are different permissions. Compare the route against those actual requirements, then examine household eligibility, contribution affordability and the effort required to document your funds. Government approval remains a decision made on the application, not an entitlement created by a quote.
Read the government contribution separately.
Published Citizenship Office schedule checked 15 October 2026. These are programme figures, not an all-inclusive quote or Bitcoin Lawyer professional fees.
The current household, fee basis and payment instructions must be confirmed before commitment. The official page includes schedules from different instruments; an added family member, route change or particular requirement must be reconciled with the applicable current schedule rather than inferred from a marketing calculator.
Budget separately for professional services, document reissue, certification, translation, courier work and any required travel or appointments. Professional fees are quoted after the strategy session. The written engagement should show who receives each payment, when it is due and the refund terms that apply to that specific charge.
| Published category | Government amount, USD |

A contribution and an investment are different exposures.
DSP is the contribution route discussed here. If a proposed alternative includes a fund or investment component, obtain its current legal basis, subscription documents, expenses, asset exposure and redemption terms. Do not subtract a hoped-for future return from today’s cash requirement and call the result a guaranteed net cost.
An investment may introduce market, liquidity and counterparty risks in addition to the citizenship application. Citizenship approval and recovery of invested capital are different outcomes. A recommendation should state the reason for choosing a route and the risks you keep, rather than relying on the lowest headline figure.
Five milestones to track.
Household and records review
Confirm the proposed applicants and the route-specific document list. Reconcile identity, relationship, residence history and any missing or inconsistent records.
Financial diligence
Prepare the lawful source of wealth and the particular funding trail. FIU screening is separate from the Citizenship Commission’s decision, and questions may require additional evidence.
Complete application
Confirm the designated agent, responsibility for filing and the accepted document formats. Keep a dated register of what was submitted and what remains outstanding.
Decision and payment conditions
Follow the verified instructions for the selected route and stage. An adviser’s readiness assessment, an authority’s clearance and final citizenship approval are not interchangeable.
Oath, passport and collection
Confirm current oath, biometric and passport arrangements for this application. Appointment availability, travel and delivery belong in the project schedule; preparation done remotely does not prove that every later step can be remote.
Two workstreams deserve an early start.
Bitcoin evidence
Connect the original money or earning event to Bitcoin acquisition, wallet movements and the proposed funding address. A transaction proves a movement; exchange records, contracts or mining records help explain why the funds became yours. Review gaps before committing a programme contribution.
Family eligibility
A spouse, child or parent needs both a qualifying category and the documents that prove it. Adult dependency, age limits, custody and consent should be confirmed under the chosen route before calculating a household total. A family label on a fee table is not a complete eligibility test.
Before the session, prepare this.
- Your travel priorities and the countries where you expect to live.
- A household list with ages, relationships and nationalities.
- An inventory of passports, civil records and residence history.
- A short explanation of how the wealth was earned and which funds you would use.
- A list of deadlines, missing records and any previous immigration refusals.
Do not upload identity documents or wallet exports through a general enquiry. Agree the intake channel and scope first. Never provide private keys or seed phrases.
Before you decide
Common questions.
How long does the whole process take?
The useful schedule includes preparation, screening, government review, further evidence, appointments and passport issuance. We do not convert a processing estimate into a guaranteed delivery date. The written plan identifies dependencies and is updated when an authority requests more information.
Can a contribution be made before eligibility is reviewed?
Payment instructions must follow the confirmed programme sequence. Establish suitability, the responsible filing party and the applicable terms before transferring funds. A contribution is not a substitute for the required review.
Your next step
Turn the guide into a working list.
Start by listing the records you hold, the decision you need to make, and the questions this guide leaves open. A free 15-minute screening call helps to establish eligibility.
